For Your Information:
*Schedule this week: Health class starts Monday and continues through January 21. No extended periods or Core Extension for that time period.
*Adopt-a-Family was introduced in advisory before Thanksgiving. Please help your kids with their purchases. All gifts need to be returned to school by December 6. We will wrap in advisory on December 9.
*Effective second trimester: 1) No late work will be accepted on the team; 2 )Mrs. Rogers’ study sessions will be as follows: Monday Lunch – Math 7 students, Tuesday Lunch – Math 8 students, Wednesday Lunch – Algebra 7 students, Thursday Lunch – Algebra 8 students; Please try to adhere to these days for extra help as it is difficult to work with 4 different groups at the same time in a short period of time. Thanks for your cooperation with this, I believe it will be beneficial to everyone.
*High School Placement Test at OPRF on Saturday, December 4.
*End of 1st trimester was Tuesday, November 23. Report Cards come home Friday, December 10.
*The media center is open Monday – Thursday from 3:35-4:30. You do not need a pass just line up outside the media center until the supervisor gets there.
*Please remember to bring in those travel/hotel toiletries to advisory so we can make kits for the homeless.
*Did you know you are able to pay for IDs, Field Trip fees, lost books (library and text), lunch, fees and
Yearbooks on line? All you need is your child’s student ID number and the amount due.
Parents, please take a few minutes to review this with your child so you will know what is expected for this week. Also, be aware that sometimes things arise and we do not always accomplish what we have planned.
