For Your Information:

*ISAT Testing begins Tuesday. Schedules will be different for the week so make sure you pay attention and know what class you are going to. Monday is a normal day; Tuesday – 9-11:30 – Test, Lunch, 5, 6, 1, 2, and 3; Wednesday and Friday – 9-11:30 – Test, Lunch, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9; Thursday – 9-11:30 – Test, Lunch, 5,7, 1, 2, and 3. On Friday 7th graders have an additional test; 8th graders will have 55 minute classes with Ms. Gora and Ms. Rogers and then go to 3rd period
*Students should have more than one #2 pencil, calculator, HEALTHY snack, clear bottled water (not flavored), and something to read if they finish early.
*DUE TO ISATS THERE WILL BE NO BEFORE SCHOOL OR LUNCH STUDY SESSIONS THIS
WEEK.
*Core Extension classes are rotating through mini-classes. Last day of this rotation is Friday, March 4.
*You should have received your child’s portfolio with an explanation about conferences. If you have not already done so, please return the attached letter. We would like to be finished with all conferences by March 4.
*End of second trimester is Friday March 4. Report cards come home with students on Friday, March 18.

*Please help students with their service learning project, Chores for Change, to help raise money for an Orphanage in Haiti. Last day to collect money is Monday, February 28. Each child is asked to raise a
minimum of $10.

All money collected will benefit the Horizon de L’Espor children’s home in Port-au-Prince Haiti that was devastated in the earthquake. This initiative is district wide so you will hear about it from all your children. Please help us by giving your kids some chores to help raise funds for this worthy cause. Feel free to view the project at http://haitiexchangeofhope.blogspot.com/ there is a prize for the advisory that raises the most money.
